Get ready to unleash your inner photographer! For the first step in the Aussie Paws Photo Contest, we want you to capture the essence of your pet in a single, stunning photograph. Think creatively – we're not just looking for snapshots! Showcase your pet’s unique personality, their quirky habits, their adorable expressions, or their majestic beauty. Whether they are lounging in a sunbeam, playing fetch in the park, or dressed in a hilarious costume, we want to see what makes your pet special. Consider the lighting, composition, and background of your photo to make it truly stand out. You can use your smartphone or a professional camera – the quality of the moment captured is more important than the equipment used. Remember, the more creative and engaging your photo, the better your chances of catching the judges' eyes and winning those coveted votes! So, grab your camera, gather your pet, and start snapping those winning shots! Let your pet's personality shine through and tell their story in a single frame.

Step 2: Submit Your Entry

Fantastic photo captured? Now it's time to officially enter the Aussie Paws Photo Contest! Submitting your entry is quick and easy. Simply navigate to the "Enter Contest" section of this page – you'll find the entry form just below. You'll be prompted to upload your amazing pet photo. Make sure your photo is in JPEG format and under 5MB in size to ensure a smooth upload process. Along with your photo, we want to know a little bit about your star! Include a short, engaging caption about your pet – tell us their name, their breed (if known), and perhaps a fun fact or a heartwarming story that relates to the photo. This caption will be displayed alongside your photo in the contest gallery, so make it captivating! Finally, don't forget to enter your own name and a valid email address so we can contact you if your pet's photo is a winner! Double-check all the information before you hit the "Submit Photo" button to ensure your entry is complete and ready to go. Once submitted, your photo will be reviewed and, upon approval, will be added to our public contest gallery, ready for the voting phase!

Step 3: Share and Vote

Entry submitted? Congratulations, you're in the Aussie Paws Photo Contest! Now comes the exciting part – it's time to rally your friends, family, and fellow pet lovers to vote for your pet's photo! Once your photo is live in our online gallery, you'll receive a unique link to share. Spread the word far and wide! Post the link on your social media profiles – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, even your local community groups. Email it to your contacts, and don't forget to ask your pet-loving colleagues and neighbors to cast their votes too! The more votes your photo receives, the higher your chances of winning. Encourage people to not just vote, but also to share the contest with their own networks – let's make this a fun, community-wide celebration of pets! Voting is open to the public and will continue until the contest end date. Keep an eye on the leaderboard and keep sharing to climb up the ranks. Contest Rules

Contest runs from October 28th, 2024 to November 25th, 2024.
Open to Australian residents only. Entrants must be 18 years or older.
Photos must be original works, taken by the entrant, and feature their pet. Photos of other people's pets or stock images will be disqualified.
Voting is open to the public and limited to one vote per person per photo. Automated voting or vote-buying is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.
Winners will be announced on December 2nd, 2024, on the Aussie Paws Pet Hotel website and social media channels. Winners will also be contacted via email.
By entering the contest, you grant Aussie Paws Pet Hotel the right to use your submitted photo for promotional purposes related to the contest and future marketing campaigns.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Aussie Paws Pet Hotel reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates the contest rules or is deemed inappropriate or offensive.
Employees of Aussie Paws Pet Hotel and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the contest.
